Because of Covid-19 in many are looking for a way to escape<\/b><\/span> their daily life. For this reason many use boats to avoid gatherings and risking infection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With the virus spreading, however, the regulations to be respected on board and in port also change.<\/span><\/p>\n

To facilitate their clients, many in the nautical industry use alternative methods to make buying or renting a boat as safe as possible<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In Italy during phase 1 of this epidemic the nautical <\/span>industry<\/span> has also been subjected to many restrictions <\/span>in order to contain the infections and to avoid the spreading of the virus. During the lockdown, between May and March 2020, many sea lovers were also prevented from setting sail.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With the lockdown ending and the <\/span>ph<\/span>ase 2 beginning was finally allowed to sail again. With <\/span>some limitations<\/b><\/span> though.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Regulations to be respected on board<\/b><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

The crew on units for commercial <\/span>or rental<\/span> use must in<\/span>deed<\/span> undergo periodic swab <\/span>tests<\/span> and <\/span>they <\/span>must record their temperature every day.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As for leisure crafts<\/span>, <\/span>instead<\/span>, even on board, <\/span>as<\/span> written on the website of the <\/span>Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport<\/b><\/span>, <\/span>on them <\/span>you <\/span>must:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. respect the <\/span>social distancing of at least one mete<\/b><\/span>r<\/b><\/span> between non-cohabitants,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. wear <\/b><\/span>individual<\/b><\/span> <\/b>protective equipment<\/b><\/span> during mooring, unmooring, bunkering and assistance in port,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. decreas<\/b><\/span>e t<\/b><\/span>he maximum number of people <\/b><\/span>allowed on board <\/b><\/span>(<\/span>number <\/span>established <\/span>based <\/span>on the possibility of guaranteeing social distancing measures).<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Moreover i<\/span>t was imposed to <\/span>properly<\/b><\/span> sanitize<\/b><\/span> all the <\/span>spaces<\/span> and surfaces exposed to contact.     Boats for everyone<\/b><\/span><\/h1>\n

    Genoa Boat Show<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

    The 60th edition of the Genoa Boat Show<\/b>, which hosted over 800 exhibitors (Seven Seas included<\/strong>) from October 1st to October 6th, was the most recent confirmation of this positivity..
    \nThis event is the only one in its field that has not been suspended throughout Europe and more than <\/span>70,000 people<\/b><\/span> participated in it despite the health emergency and bad weather. This shows that at the time of Covid-19, even after the lockdown, more and more people to get away from the gatherings <\/span>decide to sail<\/span>: <\/span>there, was sold <\/span>any<\/b><\/span> type of boat for <\/b><\/span>any<\/b><\/span> type of budget<\/b><\/span>.<\/span>
