Everyone can sail<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Anyone can learn to maneuver a sailboat<\/strong>: many are convinced that this is a very complicated discipline, reserved for a small circle of people, but this is not true at all. These courses can be taken by anyone: from the very youngest to people a little older. It is not in fact true that to go sailing you need a sculpted physique or the heart of a marathon runner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking a sailing course can be a great opportunity for children and teenagers to meet peers that share the same interest in the sea and navigation<\/strong>. An opportunity to escape from everyday life, away from computers, social networks and cellphones. An excuse to detach yourself from the confusion to take refuge in nature<\/strong>, wild and indomitable as it is found only in the open sea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sailing is psychologically good for you<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

It is scientifically proven that the sea can teach representatives of the new generation how to be more independent<\/strong> and more self-confident<\/strong>. These are in fact essential qualities when it comes to boating: the sea can be dangerous and demanding, and when it surrounds you, you must always be ready<\/strong>. The boat gives the opportunity to face unusual circumstances and to get out of them relying only on yourselves<\/strong> or on the collaboration between crew members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Knowing how to best face and overcome all the adversities that the sea offers us leads to much more self-esteem<\/strong>, more determination<\/strong> and increases the ability to solve problems in everyday life. Going on a sailboat, in fact, develops the ability of coping<\/strong>, that is the ability to manage complex situations and conflicts, sometimes knowing how to deal with a lot of frustration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, sailing on a boat requires you to develop attention skills<\/strong>: on board there are many things to think about and each of these deserves a part of the sailor’s attention, stimulating your brain to think on several fronts<\/strong>, developing the ability to put everything in the background to focus the mind on a single stimulus. In the event of an emergency on board, for example, or a need for a sudden maneuver, you are forced to get out of your shell using your aggression for explosive actions and take decisions within a second.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not only for the young ones…<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Sailing can teach life lessons<\/strong> to the older ones too, but above all it can be a way to awaken the instinct<\/strong> that after years of work and reasoning can be a bit rusty. It can become a way to spend relaxing holidays at sea, still full of moments of adrenaline and movement.<\/span><\/p>\n

At first, it may be difficult to understand and grasp concepts such as the state of the sky or the sea, the smell of the rain that is about to arrive or the air temperature that warns us that something is changing. However, with time and practice, these things can be learned and become easier and easier.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is never too late to take a sailing course and learn how to maneuver a boat: anyone can do it with a lot of determination and perseverance.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
