The two major brands, Solaris Yachts and CNB Yacht Builders, come together to create an excellence group. The two companies have begun a process that will end in 2022 with the transfer of the CNB shipyard to Aquileia, where the Solaris shipyard is already located.
This agreement aims to keep the different identities of the two companies intact, creating a collaboration that will combine the best parts of the two, in order to design new boats of extraordinary quality.
This union will result in the creation of the first worldwide excellence group in the construction of sailing boats, from 40 to 110 feet.
Solaris Yachts, founded in 1974, is an extremely renowned shipyard all over the world, known for its elegant hulls with timeless classicism. It has earned its place among prestigious shipyards of the world thanks to its “performance cruisers“, which guarantee easy navigation to their owners, eager to be at the helm.
For some years now it has no longer produced hulls shorter than 44 feet, keeping focused on bigger boats, such as the new Solaris 111, launched a few months ago. However, although it hasn’t built relatively small boats for some time, in the summer of 2020 Solaris surprised everyone with the launch of the new Solaris 40.
CNB Yacht Builders, on the other hand, was born in 1987 and first made itself known with its One-off and later with the CNB 66 and CNB 70, which led it to become the market leader in the field of offshore sailing.
In a few weeks, the new CNB 8X will inaugurate the start of a new phase for CNB.
The agreement between the two shipyards therefore relies on over 80 years of experience and quality in the field of sailing and will see to the creation of new models.

It was stated that the two shipyards will consider 2021 as a transition period in which they guarantee the usual punctuality and professionalism to their customers: this transitional period, aimed at favoring a smooth integration of CNB into the Solaris environment, will end in 2022 with the gradual relocation of the yard from Monfalcone to Aquileia.
